05 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
06 - ½ teaspoon salt

01 - Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

04 - Brush the zucchini generously with the garlic butter mixture on all sides.
05 - Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, turning once, until the zucchini is tender and has light grill marks. Brush with additional garlic butter during grilling for extra flavor.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The garlic butter soaks into every bite making even veggie skeptics reach for seconds.
  • Everything cooks in under ten minutes once your grill is hot.
02 -
  • Wooden skewers need a thirty minute soak in water or they will char before your zucchini is done.
  • Do not slice zucchini thinner than half an inch or it will fall apart on the grill.
03 -
  • Save a spoonful of the garlic butter to drizzle over right before serving for maximum impact.
  • Grill marks are pretty but tender zucchini matters more so do not overcook chasing perfect lines.
