01 - In a small saucepan, combine 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 02 - Pour 2 cups unsweetened almond milk into the saucepan with the spiced syrup. Heat gently, whisking consistently until the mixture is hot, ensuring it does not reach a boil.
03 - Concurrently, brew 2 shots of espresso or prepare 1/2 cup of strong coffee.
04 - Evenly distribute the warm spiced almond milk mixture into two individual mugs.
05 - Carefully pour one shot of espresso, or half of the brewed strong coffee, into each mug. Stir thoroughly to integrate the flavors.
06 - Optionally, top each latte with coconut whipped cream and a light dusting of ground cinnamon or nutmeg. Serve immediately to enjoy.
