# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The grenadine creates this stunning sunset effect that makes everyone ask whats in your glass
  • You get all those complex tropical flavors without the next-day headache or alcohol buzz
  • Takes literally five minutes to throw together, making it perfect for unexpected guests
02 -
  • Freshly squeezed lime juice makes or breaks this recipe, never skip it
  • Orgeat contains actual almonds, so grab a non-nut version if allergies are at play
  • The grenadine needs to be poured slowly or you will lose that beautiful layered effect
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving, makes everything stay colder longer
  • If you cannot find orgeat, a splash of almond extract mixed with simple syrup works in a pinch
